At the Growing Tree Childcare and Preschool, our mission is to deliver exceptional child care services that prioritize quality, affordability, and personalized attention for each family. We are dedicated to achieving this objective by actively listening to and fulfilling the needs of parents, striving to exceed their expectations and ensure their satisfaction with our services.
Established in 2000, Growing Tree Childcare and Preschool is led by Maggie Poon, our Director and Licensee. Maggie, a graduate with a major in Child & Adolescent Development, brings extensive experience in early childhood education. Maggie is also a certified Chinese-English translator and served for 7 years on the Translation Curriculum Development Committee with the SFUSD. In this role, she translated subjects for grade level kindergarten through fifth grade. Recognizing the importance of early childhood development, Maggie established our family childcare business to provide guidance to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers during their formative years. Maggie is confident her knowledge and experience will greatly assist with achieving our common goal for the success of your child. In addition, Maggie has a strong musical background including areas of expertise in piano, acoustic guitar, singing, and dance, which all contribute to the curriculum she has established.
We pride ourselves on offering distinctive programs that foster growth and exploration. Our curriculum includes specialized instruction in Mandarin and performance arts, providing children with unique opportunities to expand their horizons. We thrive on encouraging discovery and creativity, empowering our students to explore their interests and talents in a supportive environment.
Growing Tree is fortunate to have and maintain a quality teaching staff within its preparation program. We seek teachers who have competent training, professionalism, and expertise in the field of early childhood education, along with a genuine love for children.
